Position Summary
The Manager, Pension Investments & Finance will play a key role in the selection, monitoring and reporting of the investment managers for the US benefit plans and manage the cash flow requirements of the pension plan. In particular this role will be focused on the roughly $2 billion alternative investment allocation of the plan assets. This will also entail playing a strong role in investment strategy formulation and implementation. As a result the selected candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain an appropriate investment thesis and to generate ongoing performance attribution analysis on the portfolio. This person will also be charged with the responsibility of building detailed financial models to analyze asset allocation decisions and asset-liability management strategies. The candidate will have the opportunity to present on various initiatives to senior management on a regular basis. The ability to succeed in this position will depend on the candidate's ability to work as a team player, communicate effectively and co-ordinate projects with internal and external resources including Tax, Legal, Corporate Human Resources, Accounting Services and external investment managers, trustees and actuaries.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate will bring:
- BA/ BS Degree required. An MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred
- 5+ years of job related experience is required
- Strong understanding of investment finance with demonstrated analytical, problem solving and project management skills
- Alternative investment management (private equity, hedge funds, or real estate) experience through a fund management or investment analysis role and an understanding of broader financial markets / investments is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in quantitative financial modeling techniques and statistics
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment, possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and having a high level of comfort with presenting complex material to various levels of senior management is preferred
- Must have a proven track record of performing complex assignments under tight deadlines
